Domestic Crisis

In the critical context developed around late capitalist conventions an intense critique is being articulated towards what has been identified as crisis propagation. The phenomenon is strongly linked to a rhetoric that promotes and preserves discipline, control and order. In this case, what we get is the representation of a crisis, which is part real and part manufactured.
Home through social and anthropological viewpoints stands for privacy and security. In the same time it is a closed structure, where no clear distinction can be made between voluntary isolation and confinement. Any external reality enters the Home filtered through perpetual mediation, even if television, the Press, the Internet, social networks etc give an impression of global and objective information. Whenever seclusion blocks social interaction, then crisis propagation mechanisms may easily succeed in introducing Crisis as an upcoming sociopolitical rupture.
Domestic Crisis focuses on "incidents" that comment on the circumstances of crisis production through a performative in-situ development in domestic conditions. A document-narrative of unfixed plot is suggested as an open-edit setting where everyone is invited to explore, discuss, understand and contribute.
